"So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom." --Psalm 90:12.

So many times, we think to ourselves, "I still have time to learn that," or "I still have time to think about that," especially in areas or career, college, or just life in general. However, we must remember that we have a limited time on this earth. The saying is popular to carpe diem, or "seize the day." Instead, what if we were to shout: carpe aeternitatem: "seize eternity"? Yes, we should live every day to the glory of God, so why not grab all eternity? Why on earth would we settle for just one day? God has given us the opportunity to seize all eternity with the rewards we can receive, so why don't we? Are you seizing anything, just the day, or all eternity?
The idea of carpe aeternitatem was presented at ACSI's Nexus Live 2013 in the keynote speech.
