"The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools." -Proverbs 3:35, KJV

God firmly holds in place the principle that what you sow, that you will reap. If we are wise in God's eyes and following Him, He will see to it that we get the reward of our labor. At the same time, if we are foolish, then He will see to it that we get the reward of our labor (in this case, shame). God's principle of reaping what you sow always holds true--allowing even the ungodly to see (although they often simply call it karma). If we simply follow God, we should have absolutely no worry about what we will reap.
