When we find ourselves in trouble, our first reaction should be to turn to God. Most of the time, the problem was caused by neglecting Him in the first place, so this is just the first logical reason for this action. However, the promise contained in this verse adds a new benefit to this. When we cry out to Him, our enemies (including the ones we cannot see) have to go away from us. God is on our side!! He wants us to succeed. All we have to do is ask for help.
