"But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold." Job 23:10.

God knows every last thing we're going through. He allows trials in our lives to test and purify us--not so He knows we can do anything through Him (He IS omniscient, after all), but rather so WE know we can do all things through Him because He is the One Who gives us strength! (Phil 4:19) So, endure the trial willingly, for God is doing the wonderful task of removing our impurities.

(Note: I didn't say it would be easy. Gold get placed through extreme heat until it melts--talk about stressful! Even though trials are painful, they are still beneficial. Surgery isn't fun, but with the right surgeon, it will greatly benefit the receiver, even though the patient might feel some pain and discomfort temporarily.)
