"Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?" -Romans 9:23.

So many people complain against God because He did not make them able to do certain things (i.e., sing) and use it as an excuse to not serve God in any capacity (even as an usher). God has designed each and every one of us for specific purposes. Who are we to speak against that and not do what we were made to do?

As an illustration, I have absolutely no skills in working on a car or house, but I can work on computers. So then, I should sit at home and complain about why I can't work as a construction worker or mechanic, right? NO! Instead, I found work in what I can do: IT. I have many tell me how bad they are at computers and tell me they wish they could do what I do (but then why would they need me?). But that's not what they were created to do! I was designed to set up, configure, and maintain a network and computers at a Christian school while my Pastor was designed to preach, our secretary was designed to keep the school running, and our teachers are designed to teach the subjects and grades that they are good at. While I am also a teacher (I teach computer courses and some math), what would happen to the school if I left the ministry because God didn't give me the gift of teaching kindergarten (and, yes, it is a gift)? The school's tech would be limping along--not nearly as useful as it could be. (No, I'm not saying that I'm irreplaceable, but I designed our setup and it would take a while for any new IT manager to figure out exactly what I did.) God has created us to do something specific. Will you do your specific task?
