"For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? (35) Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? (36) For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen." -Romans 11:34-36.

God is so far above us. He does not owe us anything. He has given us salvation, life, and eternity with Him in heaven. We think is so great that we do a little service here and there or that we show up to church. In reality, it is only reasonable that we should live our entire lives in His service! God created everything we "own" (*ahem*, borrow), and He keeps everything going. No one is wiser than God, so no one can give Him counsel. He knows better than we do, so why do we keep ripping our lives out of His hands? Give God the glory, and let Him have control in your life. He'll do a better job with it, I promise.
