"That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:" --Hebrews 6:18.

"Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." --Hebrews 13:8

God has made so many promises to us throughout the Bible, and we tend to take for granted the fact that He cannot lie. God is holy, and as a holy God, He absolutely cannot lie. This means that He can and will uphold everything He has said in His Word, because He cannot say anything untrue. No wonder all prophecy has been fulfilled! He had to! This also means that when He tells us that He will never leave us nor forsake us, that our salvation is permanent, and that He's coming again, that He will do it. God is so wonderful and amazing in His faithfulness that I cannot wonder if He will do something, but often I do wonder how. Are you ready to trust the One Who cannot lie?
