"Be not thou envious against evil men, neither desire to be with them." --Proverbs 24:1.
So many times, we want what the world has, when they should want what we have. This is so sad considering that the result of what they have (sin) is death. Those who follow Christ, however, have everlasting life, and life more abundantly on this earth (as long as we are following Christ). We need God in our life to comfort us through our trials, and He is there for His children, especially for those in His will (Rom. 8:28). Why in the world would we want to leave that. Are you envious of the evil, or have you learned to be content, no matter what (Phil 4:11)?
