"And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption." -Ephesians 4:30.

God is with us everywhere we go, regardless of what we are doing. While this is meant to be a positive thing as the Lord gives us strength to carry on through difficult trials, it also means that He is there every time we sin. He doesn't approve of the sin, certainly doesn't like it, but He is there because He is inside you. Every time we sin, we hurt the One Who loves us unconditionally, because we require Him to be there by our presence there. The Holy Spirit is our seal, so He won't leave us (praise the Lord!), but how often do we make Him grieve over our sin? All too often, I'm sure. While we can never eradicate our sin on this earth, we can do our best to let God live through us instead of remaining our sinful selves. Will you do your best not to grieve Him today?
