We need to show mercy to those around us. There are people in need of saving grace all around us. The good Samaritan showed mercy on the Jew that was beaten down. He didn't berate him for having fallen; he didn't preach at him to get himself up; he simply helped him. Everywhere we look, there are people who know what needs to be done, yet cannot do it themselves. As Christians, we cannot accept sin, but we can love and care for the sinners. We are called to help those who are spiritually hurting and help them heal from the wounds of their sin.
