"He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour; but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come to him." -Proverbs 11:27, KJV

This verse is a restatement of the principle, "you reap what you sow." If we do good, we will gain favor with those around us, and if we do wrong, wrong will come back to us. If we just love our neighbors as ourselves, we have nothing to fear, but if we do not, then we should brace ourselves for what's coming.
