Mankind is sinful by its very nature. We need to learn to expect this, even from Christians. Stories are becoming more and more prominent of spiritual leaders who turn their back on the Word of God and end up going to live in sin. While these stories are disheartening, we should almost expect them. Mankind is sinful. Our focus must remain on Jesus Christ, not on our leaders. Yes, we need to back our pastors, youth pastors, and teachers, but we must not let them become our entire basis for Christianity. Our focus needs to be on Jesus.
