"Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men." -Psalm 26:9, KJV.
As Christians, our testimony rides largely on who we hang out with. If we are friends with those in the world who are living wicked, sinful lives, then we will be seen as wicked and sinful (beyond that expected of us, as we are human after all). But, if we are truly friends with those who are following God the best they can, then we will be seen as godly. So the questions is, what do you want your testimony to be?
Note: I'm referring to true, close friendship in this post. We as Christians should be friendly to everyone we meet, but we also should be careful of our testimony. (I.e., we should care for and witness to the drunken, but we should not become drunk with them.)
