"If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?" -Psalm 11:3, KJV.

Too many Christians today are compromising on the foundation of their faith, and the worst part is: they have no idea! Genesis 1-11 are the most attacked chapters of the Bible today, yet without them, the Bible makes little sense. In Genesis 1-2, the Bible shows us we have a Creator. If we happened by chance, then who are we accountable to give an answer to, and who would determine if we deserve heaven or hell? Genesis 3 shows us that we are all sinners, and that death is the punishment for all sin. However, if we evolved through a process that includes death, how can it be a punishment and why would we avoid it? Even more so, why would we need a Savior? Genesis 6-8 tells us of the flood, explaining the geology we see today (yes, including the fossil record). Genesis 11 tells us the origin of languages. Also in these chapters are the principles of marriage, clothing, and capital punishment. If we allow Genesis 1-11 to be erased, then the Bible is nothing more than a collection of allegories and an archaic set of rules. However, since we know [the entire] Bible is true, then it is our power--a living Book--that tells us of our origins and a loving, caring God Who allowed us to choose if we wanted to love Him and died for us when we chose to leave Him.
