"Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful." -Psalm 1:1, KJV.

Sin tends to follow a progression, which is shown here. Walking has the idea of passing through, or flirting with sin. Standing is being a participant, but still willing to leave if needed. Sitting, however, shows comfort with what one is doing. The conscience has been seared, and the participant laughs at those who call it sin. Sin tends to creep up on you, so be careful. Just keep in mind, even sitting, you can leave, as much as you might not want to get up.
