"Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: let thy glory be above all the earth." -Psalm 57:11, KJV.

God already owns everything, and is already exalted by the angels. However, we must consider the fact that God only gave the freedom of choice to mankind. Because of this, the only people who can truly love Him and appreciate Him and His goodness are those to whom he gave free will to. Everything we do in our lives should be honoring and glorifying to God.
