God gives us strength through each day, and He allows us to have peace within our lives. This is one of the many reasons America has been so blessed with peace on our soil, with very little fighting on our turf since the beginning of the nation. We get into fighting in our home country when we fall into sin (the Civil War was caused by the sin of slavery). I honestly believe that the terrorist attacks were warning shots on our nation, letting us know that we need to repent, and we just haven't done that. I'm not trying to be a prophet, but I am seeing the early signs of war coming again to our nation. Lord, help us return to You, and give us peace.
