"And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me." -Matthew 11:6, KJV
Jesus here is replying to John the Baptist's question of whether or not He is the Messiah. John was in prison, probably looking back wanting to confirm that he made the right call. Jesus, at the end of His answer gives this statement. It almost looks like a slap in the face, kicking him when he is down, but it is rather more likely encouragement for John. John was never offended in Jesus--he died for the cause of Christ. Jesus is letting him know that He noticed and that He wants John to keep being faithful. This same encouragement can come to us as well. If we will not allow ourselves to become offended by those around us for the cause of Christ, we can become so much more influential for Him.
